About the Garden

TODO: replace with real copy. The Wy'East Community Garden is a hands-on outdoor classroom at Wy'East Middle School in Vancouver, Washington. Students plant, tend, and harvest through the school year, learning where food comes from and how a small piece of ground can be cared for over time.

The garden is also a quiet place. For students who need a break from the noise of a school day, time in the beds — weeding, watering, watching for birds — is its own kind of support.
